Island - Sviyazhsk city + ferry trip along the Volga

We will visit a unique place, which in ancient chronicles was called “Round Mountain”. It was here that the city was built - a fortress by decree of Ivan the Terrible for the capture of Kazan in the 16th century. The marvelous beauty of these places will allow you to take unforgettable photos, and the history of the city will leave no doubt that a visit to such a place must be in the "piggy bank" of any traveler. The Trinity Church of 1551 will take you to the 16th century, and you will imagine how the soldiers of Ivan the Terrible prayed here before going to Kazan, and the Assumption Cathedral and the monastery, which were included in the list of UNESCO heritage sites in July 2017, keep the history of Sviyazhsk, about which I will tell you.

P.S. On the way, we inspect the Ecumenical Temple (16 domes of different religions, confessions, philosophical teachings) and swim by ferry along the Volga (20 minutes).
