Orthodox Kazan - Zilantov and Cyzic monasteries
Description:
We will visit 2 active monasteries located on the territory of Kazan: Zilantov Uspensky Women's Assumption and Kyzic Vvedensky Men's Monasteries. Zilantov Monastery was founded in 1552 by decree of Ivan the Terrible immediately after the capture of Kazan on the site of the mass grave of fallen Russian soldiers. The history of the Cyzic monastery is connected with the salvation of Kazan from the plague of 1654.
The tour is only for you (your company/family/team). I do not form groups and do not conduct excursions on a fixed schedule.
