Raifa Monastery is located in the middle of a forest reserve, on the shore of a protected lake, here is stored one of the main Orthodox shrines - the Georgian Icon of the Mother of God, which is famous for miraculous healings since the 17th century! The monastery has a consecrated spring where you can try and take with you wonderful water. Through the centuries, the monastery has almost completely preserved its historical appearance, there is no new temple!
