The Seven-Lake Virgin Desert
Description:
We will visit the monastery, go to the main two-storey church in the name of St. Euthymius the Great and St. Tikhon of Zadon. It was in this temple that Elder Gabriel was buried (his relics were partially saved from desecration in Soviet times and now some of them rest in the Sedmiozernaya Desert, and the rest in the church of St. John of Kronstadt, Kazan). In addition, the monastery has a miraculous list of the Seven-Lake Icon of the Mother of God, which enjoys special veneration. Near the monastery there are two holy springs. To one of them we will pass (about 1 km) and you can plunge into the font (water temperature of 4 degrees), collect holy water and look into the chapel.
