On the outskirts (Sviyazhsk, Raifa, Ecumenical Temple)

Our tour will begin from the Ecumenical Temple. It is a unique building that combines the symbols of 16 different religions. Some of them are not recognized by the international community. It is a place of power where different beliefs are combined into a single energy of creation. The universal temple is not a place of worship. However, it is considered the culmination of interfaith tolerance in Tatarstan.

Then we will go to the island city of Sviyazhsk. This is an outpost city built for the conquest of Kazan by the troops of Ivan the Terrible. Today it is an island separated from the mainland. It is even compared to the Pushkin Buyan.

Admire the picturesque curves of the streets, see the ancient temples of the 16th and 19th centuries. We will visit the territory of two active monasteries: the Virgin of Uspensky, which is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List, and Ionano-Predechensky, which combined the fate of male and female monasteries. We will see the ruins of churches that will never be restored, but remain monuments of history. There is not only antiquity, but also modern creativity. We will find out what the highlight appeared in the 21st century at Christmas Square. Also in the program is the complex of historical reconstruction "Lazy tort". It will be possible to shoot from a bow and crossbow, try on armor-photographed. Feel like a 16th century warrior!

Then we will go to the Raifa monastery. We will walk along the embankment of the lake with “non-quaking frogs”, admire the ancient churches. It's quiet and peaceful. Far from the worldly bustle, the monks perform their main mission: by prayer they attract grace. The main shrine of this monastery is the Georgian Icon of the Virgin. More specifically, her oldest list.
