Tatar settlement
Description:
We will walk along the Tatar Sloboda - a historical district of Kazan, which arose as a result of Ivan the Terrible's ban on Tatars to settle in the central part of the city. You will see Tatar city estates built in the 19th century, Shamil House - Gabdulla Tukay Museum, Yunus Square - the first European square in the Tatar part of the city, visit the Marjani Mosque - the oldest surviving mosque in Kazan, you will see other mosques: Apanayev, Galeev, Sultanovskaya, Sennaya. We will stand on the shore of Lake Kaban, which is associated with one of the most popular legends in Kazan - the legend of the Khan's treasures, see the monument to Shurale.
The tour is only for you (your company/family/team). I do not form groups and do not conduct excursions on a fixed schedule.
