Temple of All Religions, Raifa Monastery and Sviyazhsk Island.
Description:
During one tour you will visit three places, which combine the origins of the spirituality of the Kazan region. Sviyazhsk arose in just one month by decree of Ivan the Terrible, as an outpost for the capture of Kazan in 1551. Since then, a unique wooden Trinity Church has remained. Now the entire island is an open-air museum, and the architectural complex of the Assumption Monastery is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List. The Ecumenical Temple was conceived and built by the artist and healer Ildar Khanov as a center of unity of all people, regardless of religion. Raif Monastery - the most luxurious in terms of architectural ensemble and significant in Tatarstan, is located in a protected corner on the shore of a forest lake.
By car, we go to the town of Old Arakcino, where the Ecumenical Temple (inspection) is located, which unites the temples of 16 world religions of present and past civilizations.
Next - to the island-city of Sviyazhsk. We make a tour of the island with a visit to the Assumption Bogoroditsky Monastery, the Cathedral in the name of the Virgin of All Sorrowful Joy, the center of historical reconstruction of the Lazy Torch, craft workshops of the Horse Yard.
Then we go to Raifsky Bogoroditsky Monastery, which is located on the territory of the Volga-Kama Reserve. Founded in the 17th century by the monk Filaret, the monastery remains the largest spiritual Orthodox center of the Volga region.
