Acquaintance with Sviyazhsk - with the history of Russia (car and walking tour)

Sviyazhsk today keeps the history of Russia from the XVI century. On a tour of this museum-reserve, we will once again remember and even plunge into different epochs of development of our state, which largely determined our modernity. Museum-reserve "Island-City of Sviyazhsk" today has seven museum-exposition and exhibition venues. Each of them can be visited for a separate fee.

The main points of the excursion to the Museum-Reserve "Island-Grad Sviyazhsk":

• Departure from your hotel.
• Crossing the Volga by ferry (in summer), by ice crossing (in winter).
• Sightseeing tour of Sviyazhsk. Get acquainted with the sights and history of this rural settlement. Visit the territory of the Uspensky Monastery of God (UNESCO) and the female St. John-Predechensky Monastery.
• Lunch in a cafe and / or free time: souvenirs, fun, costumes, shooting ranges, visiting exhibition grounds, etc.
• Depart from Sviyazhsk to Kazan to your hotel.

Note:

Wear comfortable shoes and clothes for a walking tour. In case of rain, a raincoat is needed (an umbrella in Sviyazhsk helps little). Girls are advised to have their headscarf on their heads to visit monasteries. Before leaving, keep an eye on the weather forecast for the right clothes. There is no child seat in the car.
