Golden Chronicle of the Old Tatar Sloboda and the Tukay Museum

We will visit the most beautiful mansion of the Old Tatar Sloboda. The building of the museum is associated with the names of famous Kazan merchants Ibragim Apakov and Valiulla Ibragimov, as well as General Muhammadshafig Shamil. You will learn about the life and work of Tukay, see the memorial things of the poet and his associates. Also get acquainted with the era of the Tatar revival of the 19-20 centuries. Children will look into the game room with fairy-tale characters, and also hear Tatar fairy tales in the original language and their translation into Russian.

Walk through the old streets of the Old Tatar Sloboda. You will visit the existing mosque of the 19th century, walk along the richest and most aristocratic street of the settlement - Kayum Nasyri Street, try national pastries with fragrant Tatar tea and admire the views of the ancient lake Kaban.
