Kazan Posad is a territory allocated by the city administration for the development of infrastructure and tourism. It is the historic center of the city.

Posad includes complexes of attractions that have long been the administrative center of the city. Also, the activities of many famous personalities were associated with the posad, for example, Pushkin, Chaliapin, Gorky, Tolstoy, Mayakovsky and others. The complex includes Bauman, Trade Union, Ostrovsky and Pravo-Bulachnaya streets.
