Uritsky Park in Kazan

Russia, Kazan

Description:

Uritsky Park is one of the oldest parks in Kazan. On the southern border of the park is the stadium "Tasma", on the northern - the residential area of the village of the same name, and the western part of the object is a forest park zone. After reconstruction in 2005, the green space system and dilapidated walkways were restored.

In the park there is a sports and cultural center "Moskovsky", a cafe "Spring", as well as a memorial complex of Victory. The center of the park is decorated with a lake with a wide canal. There are small fish and ducks in the water. Through the channel are thrown 3 arc-shaped openwork bridges, on which, according to tradition, the newlyweds fix special hinged locks with memorable inscriptions, and the keys are thrown into the water - which symbolizes the fortress of marriage.

In the Uritsky Park for children there is a platform with swings and slides. There is also a sports zone, on which gymnastic shells are installed, a spacious tennis court, a football (with treadmills) and a Maidan.

Many shrubs and deciduous trees are planted on the territory.
