Local Lore Museum D. Takanysh
Resp. Tatarstan, Mamadysh district, Nizhny Takanysh, street. Cooperative, 3
About the company:
In honor of the fortieth anniversary of the Tatar ASSR in 1960, a “local lore circle” was organized at the school. This was the first step in studying the history of the native land and native nature. Members of the circle “Young Historians” under the leadership of A. Ganiev decided to create a school museum. Then they began to collect exhibits, study archival materials relating to nearby villages, organize meetings with participants of the Civil and Great Patriotic War, collect information about active builders of collective farms.
November 5, 1965 in honor of the holiday of October on the basis of the school local history corner in a solemn atmosphere in a separate building was opened "Local history Museum" village Takanysh.
The museum carefully and lovingly stores samples of folk art. There is everything that has been created by the villagers for decades: brazen towels, homespun tablecloths, spots, clothes, household items and numismatics, documents and rare books, photographs and much more. The collections contain many materials from the time of the Great Patriotic War, donated to the museum by veterans, their wives and relatives.
Since the museum is located far from major cities and is located in the village, we have built our work with visitors, studying their needs and interests. In the museum we hold literary and musical evenings, organize visiting exhibitions. Taking into account the age of children, we conduct master classes, with lectures and quizzes we go to schools. Excursions are held in Tatar and Russian.
