In 1979, a special building was built for the museum according to the project of Honored Artist of the RSFSR B.I. Urmanche. The museum is located in a park area of about 3 hectares, on the banks of the river Oia. The exhibits are located in 6 halls and on the territory of the estate of the peasant Sagdi.
