Fatih Karimi Museum

Fatih Karimi (1870-1937) - educator, scientist, writer, translator, journalist, publisher, public figure. He graduated from a madrasah in Chistopol, passed the exam for the title of "mudaris" at a spiritual meeting in Ufa. He studied for four years at the University of Istanbul. He made a trip to Europe, and then wrote a book “Journey to Europe”. From 1925 he lived in Moscow and taught Turkish at the Eastern University. He wrote more than 100 books - methodical, pedagogical, journalistic, artistic. In 1937 he was arrested and shot. Rehabilitated in 1959.

The museum exhibits various periods of life and activity of Fatih Karimi and his entourage. A separate stand acquaints with photos and documents of Gilman akhun - father of F. Karimi. In addition, there are exhibited materials about R. Fakhretdinov, as well as the filing of the newspaper "Vakyt" for 1909, one of the most popular Muslim newspapers of the time, whose editor was F. Karimi. Of greatest interest are the memorial belongings of the writer, his books, as well as personal belongings of relatives of F. Karimi.

The museum to a certain extent performs the role of local history museum. The exposition presents a corner of the peasant hut of the late XIX - early XX century, ethnographic objects, information and documents about the history of the village and villagers are exhibited.
