Hotel and sports complex "Unix" in the city of Kazan

In January 2005, the suburban hotel and sports base of the UNICS Basketball Club was commissioned. The base meets all the modern requirements of the training process, as well as the games of professional teams in many sports.

The base is located on the territory of the famous sanatorium "Vasilyevsky", in a picturesque place near the Volga. The ship groves of Lebyazhe Lake and Raifsky Reserve, adjacent to the sanatorium, are among the best in Russia. Clean air, untouched corners of nature with diverse flora and fauna, forest lakes make this place miraculous.

Sanatorium "Vasilyevsky" is located at the railway station "Vasilyevo" on the road Kazan-Moscow. The capital of Tatarstan is located 30 kilometers from Vasilyevo. In addition to the railway with Kazan Vasilyevo connects the highway. Five to seven kilometers from the sanatorium is the world-famous Raifa Monastery with a holy spring, which was visited at different times by the presidents of Russia and Tatarstan, prominent political figures, major businessmen.

The UNICS hotel and sports complex is a sports and gym, as well as a comfortable hotel, built and equipped taking into account the fact that people of high stature will live in it. In the training room, two teams can train at the same time. Therefore, the hall, designed for training basketball players, volleyball players, handball players, mini-football teams and other sports, is blocked by a fabric screen. The hall is perfectly adapted for friendly and calendar games. The audience stands are designed for 2 thousand seats.

Along with sports facilities, it has two gyms with the most modern imported equipment. Comfortable showers, saunas, locker rooms for two equipment teams also meet all requirements. The gym connects to the hotel covered passage.

Four-storey hotel with 80 rooms offers 4 types of apartments: single (total - 30), double (46), two suites and two VIP rooms. All apartments, as well as furniture in them are designed for the fact that they can accommodate athletes of high stature (doorway 240 centimeters instead of the usual 210, above the standard and ceilings in the rooms). The hotel has an elevator.

On the fourth floor of the hotel there is a billiard hall. On each floor there are cozy halls, the interior of which is decided in different styles, corresponding to the atmosphere of the rooms. The video room of the hotel, located in the basement, will allow you to watch feature films, as well as any other video products.

Meals of athletes are held in the hotel restaurant. Guests are offered a wide selection of dishes. In addition to training, athletes can engage in medical and recreational procedures in a specialized cardioneurological hospital, balneological sanatorium "Vasilyevsky". One of the natural factors of the sanatorium is its mineral water, as well as the therapeutic mud of the Blue Lake. In their free time, athletes can ride boats and catamarans along the Volga and lakes, fish, take walks in the forest. For them, excursions to the Raifa Monastery, as well as to the sights of Kazan, walks on a ship along the Volga to the world-famous island-city Sviyazhsk, which, along with the Raifa Monastery, is one of the fifty most famous places in Russia.

Immediately after the opening of the training complex, basketball players of Magnitogorsk, Dynamo near Moscow visited it, the youth team of Russia held training sessions. One of the most famous Russian basketball players Valery Daineko noted that the UNICS base corresponds to the European level. Since the base was put into operation, in addition to these teams, the national men's and women's basketball teams, clubs of the top Russian division, have been training.
