Museum and exhibition center Kirovo-Chepetsk is one of the most dynamically developing museum institutions of the Kirov region. Its chronology is conducted since 1960. For three decades, the museum worked on a voluntary basis, thanks to the work and enthusiasm of true ascetics of museum business.
His funds were formed from voluntary donations and gifts from urban and rural residents. And only in 1990 the museum gained the status of the state, becoming a branch of the Kirov United Historical, Architectural and Literary Museum. Subsequently, the institution was reorganized into a city museum and exhibition center.
