Excursion to Elbrus and Lake Gizhgit
Description:
One-day excursion to the highest point of Russia and Europe - Elbrus, with a visit to the beautiful mountain lake Gizhgit. We will drive along the picturesque Baksan gorge, visit the Narzanov glade, Cheget clearing, Azau clearing and climb Elbrus by cable car to a height of 3500 m above sea level. Enjoy fascinating views and soak up the powerful energy of the mountains. During our trip you will make a lot of beautiful photos, learn a lot of interesting things about these places and get vivid impressions.
Programme
Departure from Kislovodsk from 7 to 9 am. Visit two of the most beautiful lakes (Gizgit). Further along the Baksan gorge on the way to Elbrus, we will visit the Narzanov glade, try Narzan from the sources. We will visit Cheget glade, on the cable car you can climb Mount Cheget and explore from the height of the Baksan gorge, the glacier "Seven". Next, we will drive to the Azau glade and on a rope climb to Elbrus to the station "MIR" at a height of 3500 m. Those who wish can climb to the station "Gara-Bashi" to a height of 3800 m.
