On the path to Mother Mountain

The mysteries of our planet do not leave indifferent even convinced skeptics. But what are "places of power"? And yet – this is what surrounds us, entering the path with opening views of the gorge, the space of meadows, snow-capped mountains, an infinite number of waterfalls, sheer rocks covered with moss and depleting coniferous aroma of juniper. There is no silence, there is no noise, there is harmony in everything. Together, the flow of the mountain river, taking its source from the mighty glaciers, and affectionately embracing the mountain air, drawing the melody of the beating of the heart, inspired by what he saw and piercing delight.

Ullu-Tau, Mother Mountain - so it is also called, to be in Kabardino-Balkaria in the Baksan gorge. The history of these places goes back centuries. Legends, legends, myths and scientific knowledge are closely intertwined and it is impossible to say with a statement where truth begins and where magic begins.

Our journey begins from the cities of KMV towards Kabardino-Balkaria. We are accompanied by such rivers as Terek, Malka and of course Baksan. The road along the Baksan gorge, the beginning of species beauties from all sides. Ahead you can already see the snow-capped peaks of the mountains, on the sides sheer rocks, fallen huge blocks. This landscape is not rarely a great place to shoot many familiar films. And here we are at a dead end, the road ends, and to get to "Mother Gore", we walk the path up the pedestrian stairs up to 45 degrees, not much and not less - 360 steps. And our car is on a special platform lift, created by human hands in 1960. Further along the road among the coniferous forest and enchanting views into a fairy tale.
