Mount Red Sun
Description:
The mountain under the peculiar name "Red Sun" is a part of the Kislovodsk resort park zone, which offers a beautiful view of the top of Elbrus and extensive green massifs.
Directly to the mountain top, where the cafe of the same name is located and a monument to the great poet M.Y. Lermontov is installed, you can get from the site of the modern and well-equipped cable car "Temple of Air", as well as through a specially designed pedestrian route.
The stone platform of the famous natural monument is distinguished by the presence of a characteristic cliff towards the south and west, along which you can observe the presence of separate and bizarre-looking, non-standard rocky ledges resembling the appearance of fantastic monsters. The southern slopes of the observation deck amaze travelers and numerous tourists with several rather deep caves.
