Manor Demjanovo
Description:
The first mention of the estate of Demyanovo belong to the XVIII century - at this time it is positioned as the patrimony of Andrei Kolychev, later transferred to the possession of Major General G.Y. Naumov. The estate is made in the style of early classicism with some features of Baroque architecture, the buildings that have survived to this day date back to the 1770s.
It is noteworthy that the Assumption Church, erected in 1746 by the same general Naumov, has also survived. Near the church are the ruins of a church school and a cemetery.
In addition, the park pavilion has been preserved, now adapted to the needs of the tuberculosis dispensary. Also in the estate preserved a fairly large-scale complex of the courtyard, but its buildings are also almost destroyed.
The estate is surrounded by a park, unfortunately, very thin from regular logging, in which there are two already drying ponds called Church and Holy. Moreover, behind the estate there is a pond formed by three other ponds, namely the Upper, Tsar and Green.
Today the estate is under the jurisdiction of the Klin Museum named after P.I. Tchaikovsky.
