Homestead Warm

ur. Warm (2 km Yuz Vasilievskoye-Soymonovo), Klinsky district, Moscow region

Description:

Heat estate is located in the Klinsky district of the Moscow region. The estate was built in the second half of the XVIII century by P.A. Soimonov. In 1797, under her N.A. Soimonov, instead of wooden, a stone Znamenskaya church was built. The architect of the church is presumably N.A. Lvov. Then the estate was owned by G.A. Belavets, P.D. Dolgorukov. To this day, only the dilapidated Znamenskaya Church has survived from the once rich estate.

In 1937 the temple was closed. During the Great Patriotic War, the estate was destroyed and looted, the house and other manor buildings were destroyed.

The church was built in the style of classicism of brick using white stone. The temple has a bell tower, chapels and refectory, on three sides decorated with Tuscan porticoes with pediments. The church is topped with a domed rotunda. The temple is gradually destroyed: the altar part of the temple is well preserved, but the roofs of the side aisles have collapsed, the central part of the roof has many holes, the staircase leading to the bell tower has been lost, the floors of Metlakh tiles have survived only partially. Inside are the remains of decorative painting. The church is an architectural monument of the XVIII century and is under state protection.
