The Estate High was created in the XVIII century, and for more than a hundred years it belonged to the Volkov family. Once there was a magnificent house with wings, which were rare examples of the era of wooden classicism. Unfortunately, over time, the office buildings of the estate, stables, and buildings in which the courtyard lived disappeared. The main house of the estate burned down in a fire in 2002.
Nevertheless, today tourists in the High can see several well-preserved outbuildings and a linden dense park. In addition, fragments of the stairs leading to the park are preserved. And from a high hill there is an amazing view of the magnificent distance and the Nudol River.
The surviving wings were built in the 1820s. They are located symmetrically and are modest buildings in the Empire style. Judging by the general deplorable state of the estate, they are also doomed to disappear.
