Tchaikovsky House-Museum

The house-museum of Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky is considered the oldest music museum in all of Russia. The house appeared in Klin in the late 19th century - in 1894. The museum dedicated to the composer Pyotr Tchaikovsky is located in the house where he rented a home from the local judge Sakharov. The museum preserves the atmosphere in which the composer lived, personal belongings that he used.

It has his library and archive. Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s premises and personal belongings were bequeathed to be transferred after his death to the Moscow branch of the musical society.

Tchaikovsky’s house has more than 200,000 exhibits. Among them are notes and musical instruments of the composer.

In addition to the exhibition, there is also a philharmonic. By the way, in the house-museum of Tchaikovsky always plays music from the works of the great composer.
