The museum has more than 10,000 exhibits. The largest section of the exhibition is the art of the Soviet period. The museum owns the best collection of masters of the near abroad in the Far East, a rich collection of traditional art of the indigenous peoples of the Amur region, a collection of works by artists from the Far East. The exposition of foreign art includes sections: "Korea", "Japan", "China". The museum holds meetings with artists, masters of arts, arranges concerts, exhibitions of children's creativity. The museum is a scientific and methodological center among the cultural institutions of the city and region. |
