The best-preserved ensemble of the center of the 18th century in Russia immerses in the atmosphere of the old merchant Kostroma, here it is easy to imagine how huge barges of private shipping companies moored to the shore of the Volga, how they were unloaded by loaders, how the timid merchants bought clothes in the shopping ranks of their wife, as if descended from Kustodiev’s paintings (he lived for a long time in Kostroma). You will learn the history of old Kostroma buildings and streets, which will open before you like a patchwork blanket: each house is interesting separately, and together they are a bright, beautiful canvas!

I will certainly tell you about those distant times when in Russia there was turmoil and different “dark” personalities appeared on the throne, replacing each other.
