Madame Kostroma

Acquaintance with Kostroma will begin with a sightseeing tour of the historical center of the city, where almost all the main attractions of the city are located: Shopping rows, Fire Kalanch, Monuments to Ivan Susanin, Yuri Dolgoruky and V.I. Lenin, gazebo named after A.N. Ostrovsky, Volga embankment and the temple complex of the Kostroma Kremlin. After walking through the streets of the city, we will go to the Epiphany-Anastasiain Cathedral, where we will be able to see the main Kostroma shrine, the patroness of the city - the Miracle Icon of Theodore Mother of God. Then we are waiting for an interesting and exciting excursion in the museum, where seemingly incompatible things are connected into a single whole - linen and birch bark. Here the process of flax processing is clearly shown, ancient and modern fabrics and clothes are presented.

And in the end we will visit the Holy Trinity Ipatiev Monastery - the oldest monastery of the city!
