In 1996, the decision of the administration of the Pavinsky district (head of administration - Bobrov Nikolai Anatolyevich) opened a local history museum. A building was allocated for the museum, repairs were carried out, immediately from the opening day exhibits and materials were collected. Many old things residents of the Pavinsky district gave to the museum free of charge. The first director of the museum was Elena Pavlovna.

- Monday - Friday: from 09.00 to 17.00, lunch break: from 13:00 - 14:00
- Weekend: Saturday and Sunday.
- Last Sunday of the month: from 10:00 - 17:00 (without a break for lunch)
- Sanitary day: third Friday of the month
