Day 1
Meeting. Walk through the city center, cheese museum, Ipatiev Monastery

Day 2
Red-on-the-Volga and Loseferm

After a heavy breakfast, we will leave at 9.00 and return to Kostroma by 17.15, so if you have an evening “Swallow”, take things from the hotel with you.

In the village of Krasnoy we will visit the museum of jewelry art and admire the Kostroma scan - the technique of hand weaving the finest patterns of gold and silver. Today, more than half of all Russian jewelry is produced in Krasnoye, and of course you will have time to visit the Krasnograd shopping center, where products from both large enterprises and local artisans are presented.

But the leitmotif of our trip will be the rich history of the village of Krasnoy, intricately combining events of the all-Russian scale of different eras - here the Godnov temple of the 16th century has been preserved, in these places until very recently the descendants of Ivan Susanin lived, and it is from this place. Red became the scene of bloody events of the beginning of the last century, after which the name of the village began to sound somewhat sinister.

You will get acquainted with the history of the jewelry industry in the unique Krasnoselsk Museum of Jewelry and Folk Applied Art, which is located in the ancient jewelry center of Russia.

Museum staff will acquaint you with museum exhibits made in the filigree technique and show the technological process of turning ordinary copper wire into a scan. As part of the master class, under the strict guidance of the master, you will take part in one of the stages of creating jewelry in the technique of scanning, namely in the set of scanned elements on the plane. In addition, using metal scissors and jewelry tweezers, as well as applying a little creativity and creativity, you can try to make your own scanned element. The result of your work is a composition of the scanned elements you typed, framed.

Not far from Kostroma, surrounded by pristine nature, a miracle farm stretches out - charming inhabitants live there! Friendly moose and curious kids are happy to welcome guests. On the farm there are completely no barriers, fences and cages - everything here is aimed at caring and caring for quadrupeds, and the animals respond with mutual disposition to a good attitude: the sweetest moose gladly take carrots out of their hands and even allow themselves to pet. On the tour you will learn interesting facts: how moose get to the farm, which female is considered the first beauty for the opposite sex and why, why moose can not be tamed.
