Collection of materials for the museum began in the early 90s of the twentieth century in order to show the history of urban schools, teachers who worked in pre-revolutionary Kotelnich. There are photos of women’s and men’s gymnasiums, honored teachers, their awards, textbooks, personal belongings. The greatest interest of visitors is the exposition dedicated to the period of the Great Patriotic War, and the room "Teachers of the 40-60s". Here are furniture from the apartment of honored teacher Maria Feodorovna Leushina and her books, photographs and other items. |
