Church of the Conception of John the Forerunner in Gubino

The Church of the Conception of John the Forerunner in the village of Gubino, Kozelsky district again began its work. According to the villagers, thanks to the restoration of the shrine, not only Orthodox pilgrims from all over the country come here to visit, but the village of Gubino itself begins a second life. Entire families move, start their own farm.

More recently, the temple was in a ruined state. Today it is active, has many shrines. For example, in the temple, parishioners can attach to the particles of the belt of the Virgin. They also pray to the saints, who are rightfully considered the patrons of the village.

However, the church itself is named after John the Forerunner. He baptized Orthodox people and waited for the coming of Jesus Christ.

Thanks to all this, the village comes alive, new houses are constantly appearing. It is planned to build a road and supply gas.
