The Chapel of John the Theologian in the Monastery of the Icon of the Mother of God

The chapel in honor of St. John the Theologian is located in the Krasnodar Women's Monastery, which is located on the territory of the city of Krasnodar on 146 Dimitrov Street. There is a regional oncology clinic here.
The chapel was built in 2003 at the same time as the Church of the Icon of the Mother of God Vsezaritsa on the project of Honored Architect of Russia V. N. Izhikova. It is a single-pillar brick building, plastered and whitewashed with one cupola topped with a golden cross. Built next to the All-Tsaritsyn temple and repeats its forms in miniature. Above the entrance is a mosaic canvas with the image of the saint.
The chapel is a baptism temple, having a font for the full immersion of an adult. The icons of the four evangelists on the four walls of the chapel are made in the technique of Florentine mosaics.
