Description:

The chapel of Alexander Nevsky is located in the city square named after Zhukov. Earlier on this site stood Alexander Nevsky Cathedral - the main temple of the Kuban Cossacks, built in 1872 and destroyed in the 1920s.

In 1995, a small chapel was built in memory of the temple. In 2004, after its dismantling, the construction of the chapel of Alexander Nevsky began. Four months later, the main work was completed and regular services began in the temple. The chapel temple is a small, square construction. The walls of the chapel are whitewashed and decorated with icons, the roof is topped with a gilded dome. The chapel is open daily from 8.00 to 18.00.
