Description:

On the northern side of the city of Krasnodar is located Pervomaysky Park. In the period between 1896 and 1901, then in Ekaterinodar, a forest park zone was laid in this place, which was called “Chishkivskaya Grove”.

The area of the former grove, and now Pervomaysky Park is more than 32 hectares. Favorite resting place of urban residents, where you can wander under the canopy of trees, of which there is a huge number. Oak, ash, linden, maple - this is not a complete list of plantations, there are also quite rare species of trees.

During the Great Patriotic War, most of the trees in the park were cut down, but after the war the trees were planted again.

But, the park is famous not only for the arboretum, there are several monuments to the soldiers of the Patriotic War, the victims of the Nazis, the memorial to Zhukov. Part of the park is given to children who are engaged in the Krasnodar station of young people.

As entertainment, you can ride on numerous attractions or just sit in a cafe, enjoying the measured water overflows of the fountain complex. On holidays and weekends, a huge book market is open in the park.
