Description:
Monument to dogs is one of the most original and interesting sights of Krasnodar. Mayakovsky spoke about this city as the “dog capital”, which prompted the sculptor to create this wonderful monument.
The monument is a sculpture of two dogs who met on the first date, and holding hands, or rather the paws went for a walk. The sculptor tried to accurately convey the image from the creation of Mayakovsky, a quote from which can be read on the pedestal, depicting dogs in clothes of the 20s and reflecting in sculpture the characters of the inhabitants of that period.
Many people believe that if you rub the leg of one of the dogs and make a wish, it will come true. Also, dogs, as the embodiment of love and romance, are a popular dating place.
