Turgenev Bridge

ooh Turgeneva, Krasnodar, Krasnodar Krai, Russia

Description:

Turgenev Bridge was built in 1978. It passes through the Kuban River and connects Turgenev Street in Krasnodar and Turgenevskoye Highway in Adygea. This is one of three bridges connecting the Krasnodar Territory and the Republic of Adygea on the territory of Krasnodar. On average, 14 thousand cars pass here per day.

The bridge offers a magnificent view of the panorama of the new landscaped embankment of the Kuban and the landscape of urban new buildings. In December 2008, LED spotlights were installed on the bridge, operating in 16 color modes. Now every evening, with the onset of darkness, the bridge attracts thousands of citizens and guests to the embankment, hitting 160 colored shades with overflows and consuming only twenty kilowatts of energy. The lighting project of the Turgenevsky Bridge is considered by the illuminators to be truly unprecedented. The bridge itself needs cosmetic repair, but from the point of view of safety there are no complaints about it.
