Blue Bay

The nature of the Black Sea coast combines as if several worlds, so different, but in harmony. These are high mountains with shady valleys, talkative streams and noisy waterfalls, free meadows and steppes, coniferous and deciduous forests and, of course, wonderful beaches that give so much pleasure in the summer. But even in our region, such a miraculous coincidence of so many factors is not found everywhere. One such place where generous Nature shows all the variety of her gifts is the Blue Bay. Its uniqueness is connected primarily with geological history, the period of rapid formation of the Caucasian ridge. The hilly terrain surrounding the bay on three sides is covered with dense greenery of virgin pine forests and formed by the Black Sea at the confluence of the Bjid River.
