Description:

One of the main favorites for rest at any time of the year and in any season for Russians is sunny Turkey. What tourist has not heard about its golden sands, delicious and colorful food, rich historical places? Turkey is one of the few countries that has not closed the sky to Russian aircraft.

We will tell you more about what you need to visit Turkey.

Do Russians need a visa to Turkey?

No, we say it boldly. Russians can freely enter the territory of the eastern state, and the maximum period of visa-free stay is as much as 2 months every six months. At the entrance to the country you will receive only the cherished stamp in the passport.

However, it is not necessary to abuse the hospitality of Turkey, otherwise you can face the procedure overstay - this is the number of days that a foreign citizen spent in the country beyond the specified period. The consequences of the overstory provided for by the migration legislation of Turkey can be both a fine and deportation and a subsequent ban on entry.

For violation of the visa regime of Turkey up to 10 days there are penalties in the amount of 130 Turkish liras, and for a period of up to 1 month – 14 USD. In addition, you will also have to pay the equivalent of a ikamet card in the amount of 365 lira. Further, for each next month, a citizen of the Russian Federation is charged a fine of 3 USD.

Restrictions on entry to Turkey are established in accordance with the duration of delay - from 3 months to 5 years.

What documents are needed to enter Turkey?

To visit the sunny state, Russians do not need additional documents, except for a foreign passport and medical insurance. We strongly recommend not to neglect the last document. The average cost of insurance will be for a tourist about 2-3 thousand rubles, but will save your nerves and money in case of illness.

What do you need to enter Turkey with a child?

A child under 14 years old, if it is inscribed in the passport of the parents. But there is one caveat - such a mark is put only in the old passports for a period of 5 years. With new biometric abroad parents will need to issue a separate document. A child over 14 years old needs a passport anyway.

If a minor child leaves unaccompanied by parents / guardians, in addition to a passport, he must have a notarized consent of these persons to leave. The document must be the original, which indicates the date of departure and the state he intends to visit. The consent of one of the parents is sufficient.

The birth certificate of the child should be taken with you, especially if the father or mother has a different surname. For children under 14 years of age, the certificate should be translated into English and certified by a notary. If the child is accompanied by one of the parents, the consent of the second will not be required.
