Bali to introduce tourist tax from February 14

The mandatory “entry fee” for the island will be a one-time payment of 150,000 Indonesian rupees or $9.5 per person. You can pay in several ways:

• before arriving in Bali through the official website;
• through the Google Play and App Store applications;
• upon arrival, at Denpasar airport, cash or online.

For payment, you need to specify passport data, date of arrival and email address, which will receive a confirmation of payment in the form of a QR code for further presentation at checkpoints.

You can pay the tax only with Visa and Mastercard cards (UnionPay is not accepted). This option is available for Russian tourists with a foreign bank card.

While you are in Indonesia, you do not have to pay to enter Bali or other islands, even if you leave and then return.
