However, from May 1, the old rules will return: Russians will be able to stay in Thailand without a visa up to 60 days. At the airport on arrival will be stamped for 30 days, and then the stay can be extended for another 30 days.
Types of visa
For a single visit to the country, a tourist must apply for a single TR visa. It is issued for 60 days and can be extended for another 30 days in Thailand.
To come to Thailand several times, you need to obtain a multiple entry METV tourist visa for a period of six months. You can spend up to 60 days in one trip in the country. Multiple-entry visas can only be obtained by travelers who are officially employed.
