In the XVII century, the Gubailovo wasteland was owned by the boyar S.V. Volynsky. Under his nephew I.F. Volynsky in the XVII century, a church was erected in honor of the Sign of the Most Holy Mother of God. Then, under Prince Dolgorukov-Crimean, in the XVIII century, a manor complex in the style of classicism appeared around the church. The main features of the complex have survived to our days.
The estate ensemble consists of a church, a long-standing manor house, outbuildings and outbuildings. On its territory there was also an orchard, ponds, a park. The estate has changed several owners. Its last owner was S.A. Polyakov, at which the estate became a favorite place of visits for poets-symbolists: here K.D. Balmont, V.Y. Bryusov, Andrei Bely and others visited. In Soviet times, various state institutions were located in the estate.
Currently, the Znamensky church of the estate is active. Next to it is preserved the chapel-tomb of the Polyakovs built in 1910. The main manor house is well preserved, in the early XX century it was superstructured and reconstructed in the neo-Ampire style. Three outbuildings survived, one of which was restored after the fire, as well as the manager's house. On the territory of the estate you can see the building of the horse yard. An old park has been preserved. In 2008, the restoration of manor buildings began.
