In 1975, the museum was established as a city folk lore. The initiator and organizer was A. Khudyakova. Since 1981, the museum has become a branch of the Perm Regional Museum of Local History. A great contribution to the development of the museum and the formation of its funds was made by M.I. Boyarshinova, a geography teacher. A unique material has been accumulated for the construction of the Kama Pulp and Paper Mill and Krasnokamsk, the first-born of the paper industry of the first socialist five-year plans. The exposition "Forest and Man" in addition to revealing the structure of forest biocenoses, contains a philosophical view of the interaction of man and nature. |
The museum is located on the 1st floor of a residential building founded in 1934. The house is a monument of history and architecture of Krasnokamsk. |
