Krasnoyarsk State Circus

Krasnoyarsk State Circus is located on the avenue of the newspaper “Krasnoyarsk Worker”, on the right bank of the Yenisei River. Krasnoyarsk has long been considered a circus city, the first mention of visiting tourers date back to the XIX century.

Homemade tents of those times were radically different from the luxurious building of the modern Krasnoyarsk circus, which was built in 1971. This amazing building, dubbed the “octagonal pearl” every weekend attracts children and adults to a variety of programs, giving them the joy of meeting the oldest and kindest of all arts.

The Krasnoyarsk Circus has repeatedly won many awards. In addition to circus events, today the circus also hosts performances of pop artists, and in 2002 the circus provided its arena to the participants of the Delphic Games.
