Sacred places of Krasnoyarsk

Residents and guests of the city tend to visit this iconic place by this hour, and seed and wedding celebrations are mandatory, by this time they are on the observation deck and thus, with a shot, someone begins a new married life, and school graduates have a new adult life, and for children, a shot from a cannon is an unforgettable event. From here you can see how our city is developing and improving. How, goes into the past once forgotten by God houses - "Nakhalovki", "Tarakanovki", "Nikolaevki". In place are new residential neighborhoods "Rise", "South Coast", "White Dews" of the Siberian Federal University.

Let’s go down the Yenisei road to the Peace Square, on which stands the monument to N.P. Ryazanov – a statesman, diplomat, thanks to whom the first Russian round-the-world trip was made. We will visit the memorial sign, where the Cossacks first landed with the voivode Andrei Dubensky, and from where the construction of the fortress Krasny Yar began. Nearby, on the eternal parking lot, there is a steamer-museum "Saint Nicholas". At different times, two irreconcilable political figures met at it - Nicholas II and the leader of the world proletariat V.I. Lenin. They sit opposite each other in the first class cabin, frozen in wax. We will definitely stop at Alexander Boulevard. From here there is a magnificent view of the next symbol of our city - the Communal Bridge. Once there was a ferry for a long time, which amazed even the Norwegian explorer Fritiov Nansen. It was simple – the flooring and the ferry engine – the fast flow of water. In 1961, the pontoon bridge was replaced by a beautiful bridge that connected the right and left banks of the city, along which we will continue our journey to the Krasnoyarsk HPP.

Communal bridge gives rise to the highway "Yenisei" M-54 "Krasnoyarsk - Kyzyl - state border" Behind us will leave the ski complex "Beaver Log", the Stolby Reserve, the Park of Flora and Fauna "Roev brook" and stop at the observation deck "Tsar fish" The view opens such that the spirit captures the power of the great Yenisei, the vast sea of taiga and space. At the foot of the observation deck stretches the ancestral village of Ovsyanka, an outstanding Russian classic - writer Viktor Petrovich Astafiev. Here he was born, grew up, went to war as a volunteer and, later, as he said here in Ovsyanka, “could write and breathe freely.” In Ovsyanka he had a small wooden house, where he received numerous guests: presidents Gorbachev M.S., Yeltsin B.N., Putin V.V., writer Solzhenitsin A.I. and many others. If desired, we can come and get acquainted with the museum complex V.P. Astafiev.

Further on the car serpentine we enter the city of hydraulic builders Divnogorsk. It is located in the form of residential green terraces, rising from the Yenisei to the wooded hills. We will walk along Naberezhnaya Street, along the Yenisei, stop at Pioneer Square near the stone tent - a monument to the pioneers of the city and the largest Krasnoyarsk hydroelectric power station. The inhabitants of the city admire it, call it Marvelous and you, seeing the mountain cliffs of the opposite bank, walking along the shady alleys of the streets, will be unanimous with them. And no wonder, for several years it occupies the first places in landscaping and landscaping among the cities of Russia. Three km. from Divnogorsk is Shumikhinsky gate - a narrow granite canyon, in which the Krasnoyarsk HPP and a unique inclined shipyard were built. HPP is the second most powerful in Russia. The height of the dam is 124 m and 12 turbines. By prior arrangement, an excursion to the engine room is possible. Behind the dam is a reservoir with a length of 380 km. - a resting place for citizens and lovers of sailing fleet. In winter, various kiting competitions are held on the reservoir mirror and snowmobile and dog sled riding is organized. This is where our tour ends and we return to Krasnoyarsk.
