Pillars Reserve

The tourist zone of the reserve is located 7 km from the city limits. Krasnoyarsk people have been visiting this place since the second half of the 19th century for active recreation and climbing. In the tourist area of the reserve there are eight pillars, each of which has its own name. In total, the Pillars are several dozen, and they are scattered throughout the reserve.

What awaits you

• To the place of the beginning of the tour we will drive 7 km by car. Then you will walk along a route about 3 km long in the mountainous taiga area. If the tour participants are in good sports shape, in several simple places we can climb the rocks. It is worth stocking up on seeds or nuts for chipmunks and squirrels that come out on the road for a treat. This tradition has been established in recent years, animals are not afraid of people and take food from hand.
• Their names in the reserve have not only rocks, but also some large stones. For example, a very popular stone among beginner climbers is called “Elephant”. You will see the "First Pillar", "Second Pillar", the rocks "Grandfather", "Babka" and others.
• If you are lucky, you can see an unforgettable spectacle on the rocks "Peria": when extreme climbers from a serious height go down almost only with their hands.
• At the "Pillars" you can buy inexpensive souvenirs in memory of this wonderful creation of nature. There are also stalls with snacks and hot drinks. After returning to the starting point of the tour, I will take you back to your hotel in Krasnoyarsk.

• The trip to the starting point of the excursion and the excursion itself in the tourist zone of the reserve will take 4-4.5 hours.
• Hiking in the mountains is a physical activity, you need to have comfortable sports shoes and clothes.
