Description:

St. Andrew’s Church in Lesosibirsk is an Orthodox church erected in the northern part of the city of Lesosibirsk, Krasnoyarsk Territory of Russia. Its height is 33 meters and the bell tower of the temple has 9 bells. The shrine can be visited daily by about three hundred parishioners.

The construction of the temple took less than 5 years to design: the first stone of the temple was laid in 2008, in 2009 - finishing works were already carried out, and the solemn lighting of it - in January 2012. The iconostasis and kiots for the altar were made by the master of Nizhny Novgorod.

The temple was built on the funds of the New Yenisei forest processing plant. In the spring of 2012, a cedar park was laid on the territory of the temple. The first seedling was planted jointly by Bishop Nikodim and the director of the plant V.V. Shelepkov, the initiator and chief patron of the construction of St. Andrew’s Church. Near the church there are small workshops, a guest house and a room for issuing holy water on baptismal days.
