Lake Parnoye is located in Sharypovsky district, Krasnoyarsk Territory. The lake stretches among low, covered with dense coniferous vegetation mountain ranges, steppes and small hills. Parnoye is one of the largest freshwater lakes in the Krasnoyarsk Territory. The lake got its name from the village located on the shore, more often the reservoir is called the Big, which, in general, is not strange, because the total area of water space occupies about thirty-four square kilometers.
