The Kacha River is a great place for real Russian fishing. It is inhabited by perch, bream, yarsh, sander, pike, nalim, garius and other fish. There are 13 species of fish in the river. You can catch fish in this river in Krasnoyarsk in summer and winter. Locals like to fish right in the city center in the evening after work. You can fish with an ordinary float fishing rod.
The name of the river first sounded in Turkic "Izyr-Su", and those who lived along it called themselves Izyr-kichi. This name of the river was difficult to pronounce for Russians in the early seventeenth century. Therefore, the name was transformed into "Kacha". Today it is the main natural attraction for Siberian fishermen.
