About the company:
Evenki Local History Museum was founded on November 7, 1927. It is the only publicly available repository of historical relics of the culture of Evenks, Essenian Yakuts, keto, living on the territory of Evenkia.
A unique part of the funds currently consists of:
- Natural and archaeological collections;
- ethnographic collection (national clothing, old women's jewelry, deer harness decorations, Evenki calendars, musical instruments made of wood, bone, metal);
- collection of objects of religious worship (shaman costume, tambourines, amulets);
- collection of numismatics, applied art (items of birch bark, bone, fur applications, bead embroidery);
- collection of fine arts;
- Collection of documentary materials and personal belongings of people who contributed to the development of Evenkia.
