About the company:
In the historical center of Krasnoyarsk there is an amazing beautiful wooden mansion in the style of "wooden modern" of the early twentieth century - the V.P. Astafiev Literary Museum.
The long-awaited museum center for the history of Siberian literature was first opened in 2000 and operated until 2010. On November 7, 2014, on the eve of Thanksgiving Day of Siberia, a new exhibition “Dreams of Siberia” was opened at the V.P. Astafiev Literary Museum.
The opening date of the new exhibition is not accidental. It was the Literary Museum, which became the center of spreading the values and traditions of great Russian literature, part of which is Siberian literature, that revived the tradition of holding a unique Siberian holiday - the Thanksgiving Day of Siberia, celebrated by Siberians since 1881 in memory of the 300th anniversary of the "Ermakov Coming" and their ancestors.
The museum hosts various excursions, folklore events, book presentations, meetings with writers, literary evenings, quests and master classes. The exposition presents documents, photographs, as well as memorial items of writers telling about the folklore of indigenous peoples, the development of Siberian literature and about writers born in Siberia.
