Our bases are located in the southeast of the Krasnoyarsk Territory, where the tributaries of the Yenisei - the Kan and Agul rivers flow. Agul originates in Sayan from a high-mountain lake, the depth of which reaches 104 m, the length is 11000 m. The lake, part of the river Agul and the adjacent zone are the State Biosphere Reserve, located on the territory with the beautiful name Tofalaria. The Tofalars are an ancient Siberian people, numbering only 600 people according to the latest census. They live exclusively on hunting and fishing. According to historians, this is one of the few peoples of Siberia that preserved the purity of their blood, because, due to the impassability of their place of residence, Tofalaria was not touched by the Tatar invasion.
